This Makes Me Want to Sing!

What has God redeemed you from? And what does your redemption mean for the purpose of your life?
In this message from Ephesians 1:7–10, we discover that God redeemed us for a purpose bigger than ourselves. Through Christ, we have freedom that has been purchased, sins that have been forgiven, and a future that is part of God’s greater redemptive plan. The gospel isn’t simply something we understand—it’s something so good that it should make us sing.
This message explores:
• What it means to have redemption through the blood of Christ
• How Jesus purchased our freedom from the bondage of sin
• Why our salvation is free to us but was costly for Jesus
• What it means to receive complete forgiveness through God’s lavish grace
• Why our past no longer has to define us because of what Christ has done
• How our lives can become part of God’s greater redemptive purpose
• Why God wants us to display His glory wherever He has placed us
• How we can faithfully live on mission in our own “hilltop”—where we live, work, and play
